Brand new for 2009!
UMass Lowell is proud to announce the Community Ballroom Club, allowing anyone in the Lowell area community to take part in the fun and unique club ballroom experience. Members of this club do not have to be associated with the University in any way. All that is required is a love for learning and dancing.

Membership in the Community Club centers around weekly practices on campus, which include professional lessons from our coach Amanda Clark. These practices are in the beautiful Campus Recreation Center studios, located on East Campus in Lowell. (See the venues page for more.) In addition to lessons and practice time, membership provides the opportunity to compete in the collegiate ballroom circuit, and provides full access to the social dancing resources of the UMass Lowell Ballroom Club.

To become a member, sign up at the Campus Recreation Center.

Summer Club practices are on Sunday evenings, from September 20 to November 22, at 6:30-9:00 PM.

Cost of being in the club is $165 for the semester.
