Susan Koczarski

About the Star

Susan has worked at the University since 1971 (Lowell State College) and has worn many hats, she is now and has been for 23 years the Libraries (South and North) Budget Manager, she also works with Graduate Students in helping them process their thesis/dissertations for binding and publishing….. both jobs that she enjoys very much.

She is the proud mother of two children, Shawn and Kristen. Susan has been active in community theatre for many years, producing and working behind the scenes with the many aspects of theatre, she also made her debut in 2001 in a play called “On the Town”. She is known around the office as the “tropical gal” because of her love of the ocean and palm trees.. She had the opportunity for a year and half to take some ballroom lessons. Mambo not being one of them, she thanks BJ for being such a great partner and putting up with all her teasing. She also thanks Mark and Heather for all their hard work and dedication to dance, Susan also would like to thank them for giving her the opportunity be part of this show and to “strut her stuff.”

Susan lost her dance partner tragically in September, she dedicates her Mambo to him.

About her Partner

William "The Beej" Sokolowsky is a junior enrolled in the Electrical Engineering program and has been with the club for two years. Outside ballroom, William enjoys flying & building R/C airplanes, building computers, and spending time at home with his family in Illinois. He enjoys working with people to teach them new things in all that he does and wants to thank all involved for allowing him to teach and to learn from teaching.
